This temple is endowed with a huge and holy tank known as Kuttiadan Chira. This tank is lying in front of the temple and extending about Two acres in area. The dirt as well as filth was removed from the tank in April 2012 and made it in good trim, ready for taking bath by the devotees. The extensive tank endowed with ample water is a blessing to the hundreds of natives who get used to take bath every day. It is worth recollecting the yeoman services rendered, the splendid imagination displayed and the unsparing and the untiring efforts undertaken during the decades of nineteen sixties and seventies by the late magnanimous stal-warts in connection with the construction of the Shopping Complex in the street and the restoration of the ruined tank, all at a time of adversity and utter penury.
